Size: 210.5 KB i had 2 and 6 wires go dead on me, and the others were 7000 to 9000 ohms resistance. last year i bought a 45,000 msd coil, they said in the directions to set plugs at .045", it ran like crab, reset plugs to .035' and it ran just ok... in hind sight the old plug wires had so much resistance that they couldn't fire at .045. with the new taylor wires with 40 ohms resistance per foot, my car runs great with .045" spark plug gap.. started checking some old wires i had, most of them checked bad, threw them all away... i guess old wires go bad with age.
