67 Camaro wheel alignment to body.

I know this might sound like an amature question but this is my first real build. My car is a 67 resto mod with Detroit speed front and rear suspension. The rear tires are 19x12 with mini tubs. The tire is even on both sides but it does not measure even or center in the body wheel well. Should it be even? I assume so. It is closer to the back of the body then the front. Thanks to all who respond.

How much further back are they?

What kind of DSE suspension? Leaf or quadralink? If it's linked you should be able to adjust the links to get the wheel moved forward - be aware your pinion angle will change depending on how you adjust. If leaf spring, you may be able to loosen the front mounts and move them forward slightly and re-tighten.

X2 you need to set the pinion angle at ride height if you have not already done so. Assuming you have a Quadralink.
