I just came on here looking for the same thing for my 68. I want to go with an expansion or recovery tank which ever they are called - not an overflow. I was thinking about something stock from a late model that would contour to the fender or a Moroso (about $95) and stick it in front of the rad cradle. Perhaps people could show us some pics and where they mounted them.

Sorry, I did not see this thread till now.

I used a Dorman universal plastic recovery tank that is designed to mount on a flat surface. It is the perfect size to mount on the back side of the radiator support just to the right of the radiator. The tank has a hose fitting on the bottom so I just run an 18" length of 3/8" hose from the radiator over flow tube to the bottom of the tank. By mounting it on the back side of the radiator support it really is not as obvious as a factory fender mount tank. In fact I have about a dozen pics of the engine bay and this is the only pic that I can actually see the recovery tank in. I purchased it from Summit and you can't beat the price, here is the link.

In this pic you can see the recovery tank just to the right of the radiator below the fender brace. (sorry not sure why the pic is on it's side)

Search Spectre on Amazon and you'll find a lot of overflow tanks in different sizes. I'm very please with mine.

Check my build thread for what I used.
