      Hello everyone

      Hi guys

Ive been lurking for a while now, just looking at some of your builds on the site. Im also a member on vintage-mustangs and I've wanted a 1968 mustang since high school. I finally broke down and bought a '67 late last year with the intention of building it into a mild Pro Touring car with a few modern touches. This car is a basic C code coupe with manual drum brakes, manual steering, and a rebuilt original block 289. My first upgrades will revolve aroundbasic safety items like brakes, shoulder belts, and lighting. I'll upgrade these items along with seating and other interior items I can fab myself. After that, I'll be looking at suspension upgrades, although I don't have a final plan for which components I'll go with. From this site I've learned that the most important thing is to figure out what how I want to enjoy the car.

That'all for now; I'll likely have many questions going forward, but I won't bother with questions that have already been answered. The Search button is my friend! Cheers!!
I'm not a mechanic, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Welcome aboard! You've got great taste in cars...but i'm biased.
There are a few of the VMF guys roaming around here too, so you may recognize one or two.
You have the right idea for starters. I've been told the same thing many times: 1. Make it stop. 2. Make it handle. 3. Make it go.
And i'd like to be the first to say: This thread needs more pics!
