Maxton has the mile required..it's just a little rough and not easy to hook up..We're seriously considering carrying the Cuda to their first 2006 run in April..East Coast Timing Association..Maxton N. C. I think Hot Rod Mag will be covering it..If we go, PHR will also be there to cover the Cuda

I hope you make that show, I will see you there.
As far as PHR goes, I am now looking forward to TWO issues coming out in the next couple months.
I-985 is also right there..and a lot less traffic.

I was going to recommend Maxton in my initial post, but I thought there might not be enough stopping distance and / or run off. I'm planning on running my car at Maxton when complete, I'd love to see the Cuda down there running.

I've heard Maxton requires a parachute (even if not in use?) for all cars running over 160mph; I wonder if this will be discontinued for the 0-200-0 event?

So that awesome Cuda is yours? I remember gawking over you V10 Effie at the 25th Super Nats. My friend and I spoke with you briefly. I took tons of pictures of that truck It was simply amazing. The yellow wheels on the green truck was the killer thing for me.

It's good to see that you guys planned multiple setups for the car (i.e. street and race). Too many folks assume that if the car is too slick or too expensive that it won't get used. K&K Insurance offers competition coverage, so running a high end car is not such a risky proposition.

I'm looking forward to the Maxton test.

I would have to say it's one of the most innovative/impressive car ever built and I look forward to seeing it in person and seeing more build pictures of the car. To me it’s not about the finished car it’s about what it took to get it there.

It's cars like this that move the car building hobby in new directions. Even if most people can only dream of building a car like this at least they can learn new ideas. If everyone did the same thing over and over again it would get very boring.

Yea, we are doing a HUGE story on it.. think in terms of a MEGE-Feature.. lol

We also want to do a feature on the "details" of the car and on the build up.

Johnny will be spending 3 days shooting it and he has a TON of special photo gear, should be cool.

So are you guys going to change the seats when you do the 0-200-0? Do you think the low back seats would be a good idea for that kinda speed?
