Looks like the t56 didn't fit in the stock tunnel. Did you have to raise the tunnel?

      Ford Modular

Nice job. Looks great! I'm building a 1940 Ford Tudor and will be installing a 1996 4.6l SOC. I installed the 2004 PI heads and intake. This should make the car scoot down the road.

Yeah it needed to be raised about 2in in the front section to get the drive shaft angle right

Had to cut almost an inch off the side closest to the firewall and reweld it back up. Both mine sat forward to much aje also makes a “fix” for that. They have adjustable arms but there like $400 something

Built a box frame for the fuel tank to mount too to stiffen up the rear some more. Got seat pans in and the rest of the floor roll cage built an out rigger from the sub frame to the roll cage for support and 14” Shelby brakes on all four corners. Yes that is way to much brake for the rear but it looks way better and the will use a portioning valve to make them work

      Just read the entire build.

First off I love that it’s a coupe and the build is awesome. Looking forward to watching the rest of the build.
