Anyone running CPP or e-brake caliper style rear disc brakes? I need a measurement

Im looking at buying the cpp rear big brake kit or something similar. My car is on airbags and when its down I have about 3.25 inches between the axle housing outer flange and the frame rail/inner wheel tub on my Camaro, so the emergency brake bracket/linkage or inside part of the caliper might hit . I am looking for a measurement from the caliper bracket mounting surface on the caliper to the inner most part of caliper, or axle housing flange surface where the caliper bracket bolts on to the inner most part of caliper. If someone could take the time to measure that it would be much appreciated!

I have had the CPP big brake kit (front and rear) on my 68 Firebird for a few years now and thought it worked pretty well until I took the car to the track and realized the rears are not participating that much. I just changed to a 1" bore Wilwood master cylinder with rear prop valve. With prop valve wide open I still cannot get the rears to lock up under hard braking. So I have no clue how much the rears are participating... Was hoping to get the rears to lock up then dial them back with prop valve... Yes i applied the e brake several times and bled the system properly. So I'm currently stuck like many other ppl apparently are... just google "cpp big brake kit problems" and you'll know.

Now that i track the car and am tired of using re-purposed cast iron truck (front) and Lincoln Continental (rears) calipers (that dont work) I am getting rid of my CPP brakes. Maybe it's user error but I can tell you those rear brakes are screwy--literally-- they have an internal screw e brake mech that make it non obvious as to how to compress the pistons back in when changing pads (figured that out the hard way...) and supposedly applies constant pressure to the rotors. Still they don't work properly as far as i can tell. Tired of them. Just upgraded to Kore3 C6 Z06 front kit and may have to go with a rear kit from him as well. Wish I knew of Kore3 sooner...

thats good information! I have pressed on Ford style axle bearings with the GM 12 bolt pattern on the housing ends. Makes it hard to run an internal drum parking brake because the backing plate works as an axle retainer, which I dont know if its designed to do that, and has to go on the axle before the bearing is pressed on, which mine are already pressed on the axle. Plus the Kore3 internal park brake setup is expensive. Maybe I just wont run a parking brake and save myself some trouble lol...
