      T56 magnum trans mount?

Hi. I was looking at Energy Suspension transmission mounts last night for my T56 Magnum. I came up with part number 4.1104, would this be the part number you guys commonly use? Seems quite tall at 2 5/8 inches. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers Trevor.

The energy mount is taller than is oe replacement. Even if you dont install the reinforcment plate which isn't recommend. I used just a plain rubber mount. It was significantly shorter than the energy unit. Not sure why but the part numbers cross reference. I believe this was a mistake made by energy. A quick Internet search will show several other complaints about the height.

Energy 3.1108G is what we use on all GM transmissions including Ford & GM T56 magnums which have a dual bolt pattern.

I can't say what the height is of the 1108 though.. sorry

Thanks Dale. I have yet to take my transmission out of the box, but from above I could only see one set of holes. I will look at that tonight. Cheers Trevor.

Thank's Dale. I reached under the extension housing when I got home from work and sure enough there's a second set of holes. I have a new polyurethane chev mount here that I bought a while back that will work for me, it's probably the part number you suggested. Cheers Trevor.

The Energy Suspension mount is 3/16" taller than the rubber OE mount it is listed to replace...the Prothane brand poly mount on the other hand is the same height as the stock mount.

Thanks mate, I think they reckon it's 1 15/16 inches tall, I'm starting to fab up a crossmember so it won't be a problem. Cheers Trevor.
