Need help with wheel fitment, 19's on 73 trans am +ridetech

Ok guys, here is what i have.
73 Trans am, ridetech all around, 4 link in the back strongarms in the front, adjustable on both ends and wilwood in all 4 corners 6r in front 4 in back. I'm putting 19's all around or 19 in the back 18 in the front. I have already measured for wheels in the back thanks to gearhead for loaning me his wheel fit tool.

Here is my issue, with the brakes mounted, wheel fit tool installed the wheelfit tool is touching the upper control arm, and its set at a 19 inch wheel. I thought this setup was good for at least 18's all around but the front seems to have a clearance issue. should the upper control arm fit inside a 19 inch wheel or am i stuck with a wheel width that stops at the upper arm?

How wide of a rim is the wheel fit tool set up for right now. It looks like its setup really wide, with a ton of backspace?

edge to edge 19x9 with 6 3/4 bs clears, the photo is at 7in bs, tons of room to the subframe but it wont clear the upper arm.

Are you trying to tuck the wheel and drop the car really low? I've got 10" 18's with 6" BS and installed steering limiters. With 6 3/4" backspacing you'll probably really loose turning radius.
