      New guy from Missouri

I have been browsing here for a couple of months now and thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Brad and I have a 69 Malibu that I am wanting to do the the PT thing to. Here is a pic. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...9chevelle2.jpg
It needs some work but I have had it 14 years, it was my first car.

Nice to see you here Brad! As you probably noticed the guys here are very helpful. I have seen more helpful tips here than any other forum we frequent.

I am in Marshall. I am about 60 miles West and North of Columbia. or about 100 East of KC.
      My plans for the car
SC&C stage two Kit with stock spindles
dirt track springs front and rear
C5\C4 disk brake upgrade front and rear (in progress of aquiring parts)
Tubular rear upper and lowers with heims and spherical bushings.
I plan on using 17 wheels with 275/40 front and rear
Paint & body same color scheme maybe black out the top to the body line.
Engine & trans currently stock 350 with a 2 barrel and a powerglide.
I plan to upgrade to some vortec heads and a TBI setup maybe mpfi if I can find the funds. I want to upgrade the tranny to a 2004r.

Thanks for all the kind words. The car looks good from that side but was hit in the front on the other side. I had the frame straightened and have new sheet metal for the front clip. The car had been sitting for about 10 years and I got started on it last fall. I was going to do a stock resto on it but I have always thought I would like for it to handel better, so here I am.
