      Goodguys Charlotte 10/28/05

I took ~50 pix before the battery died. Only a few are PT, and they all
reflect my bias for Fords and full-size & intermediates.

great pics -- much more than I got!

I know I shouldn't say this as a Ford Fan on a PT board, but
that blown hemi PS Cuda was very nice.

Another observation -- when did Buick Invictas become so
popular? I love that "bullet" front profile, but I was really
surprised to see that many nice ones @ GG. There were many
cool Impalas, of course, but the Buicks were a pleasant surprise.

Hey 62Wagon. I've got family in Greenwood and Ninety-Six. Love the Rough House hot dogs and The Dixie Cheeseburgers. That silver '31 Model A is from down here. He used to have a blower motor with wheelie bars as long as the car. He wrecked it at the track and had to rebuild it. I saw it run the a couple of weeks ago...it still needs wheelie bars. That thing is B A D!
Robert's 1969 Camaro - 2002 LS1/T56, 10pt cage, Global West Stage III front suspension, HTH truck arm rear suspension, Sprint Cup 9" full-floating rear end, Fikse Mach V 17" up front 18" in the back and still working on it...

phonedude - Yes, that Cuda was sharp! Sharp enough in fact to have earned one of the Goodguys picks. And you are correct, the 61-62 Buicks are sharp and gaining popularity. If any of those guys wanted to throw keys, I would have done it in a minute. In particular, the silver one with the peachy-orange interior.

scogin918 - I remember seeing the '31 last year and thought it had a blower on it. I remembered thinking after talking to him that this guy is sick in all the right ways. Hate he wrecked it but glad to see him OK and the car put back together. If you are ever by here, hollar and a Dixie cheese (half and half of course with fries and onion rings) is on me.

Anyways, glad everyone enjoyed the pics. Just doing my part to make your day a little better!!!
