th400 where to buy?
hey im looking for a th400 that can handle 700hp its going behind an ls engine. can i get suggestions on where to buy or from who? thanks

I have a freshly built TH400 originally sourced from a 1969 3/4 C20 pickup. Upgraded internal fasteners and industrial grade snap rings, Hughes HD intermediate sprag, Trans-Go stage 3 shift kit, kevlar seals/bands, extra 1-2 and 2-3 clutch packs, 2-extra quart TCI aluminum pan, no converter. This trans is rated to handle 800 HP. $900 buys it plus actual freight cost. Very stout trans-rebuilt 3 months ago and hasn't been installed yet. PM me if interested.

i used JW with UltraBell, i purchased it about 10 or so years ago and i've only rebuilt it once. i had it behind 1000 hp, just make sure you service it regularly if you beat on it and it'll last a long time.
