      69 camaro shell V6 vs V8

Looking for some advice on the potential shell that will start my pro touring 69 camaro. I have found 2 comparable cars both in primer that are similar in having excellent solid bodies...however, one is a 12337 (V6) vs a base 12437 (V8) x44. The V8 is $4000 more...will this difference in price be worth it if I decide to sell later or would that money be more wisely spent on suspension or engine upgrades?

IMO, the only time a V6 vs a V8 shell would make any difference is if you were doing a 100 point restoration. Since a PT build is by definition not stock it will make no difference at all. Both shells being equal condition, I would buy the V6 shell in a heartbeat and spend the $4K elsewhere on the build.

If you are looking at a resale potential a full on pro-touring car will fetch more money than a fully restored car at this time.

Nothing new to add, it doesn't matter on a pro-touring car. But I will add... it's an I6, not a V6.
