Hey everyone, The name is Tom and im pretty new to this pro touring scene. I've got a 1972 Chrysler Newport 4 dr that i am going to do a little performance upgrades to to make it more of a cruiser, long distance car. So far i have owned the car since 2006 and i bought it for a low payment of 1000 dollars with 54,000 miles on it. I put a set of used headers and a msd 6al on it and that woke it up alot. It has gabriel Hi Jackers on the back but other than that it is all stock. I am here to gain knowledge and friendship. Thanks for all the input hope to hear from everyone soon.

Thanks James. Yeah that newport was the first one that i seen in the style that i liked. That is around the look that i am going for kind of BIG and like Mike Musto's charger i really like it no frills no games just what works. The motor is a 400 and i just plan on putting a good cooling system in it and a good 4 barrel intake and carb on it. Nothing super fancy just a great highway driver. Oh yeah it has really high gears for the highway in the form of 2.73.
