What brand/viscosity/type of gear oil for truetrac
Curious on what you guys are running for gear oil. I've been told everything from good ole 80-90 to hi end synthetics. I'll be 90% street, 9% autocross, 1% road course. Driven with ambient air temps of 45*F to 100*F. I'm running a fabricated housing 9 inch. Does anyone run different oil for different events? Thanks for any input.

All the paperwork & instructions that came with my moser w truetrac says non synthetic. This was about 4 years ago...

Don't run the synthetic. Use the real oil. Eaton told me that any major brand regular 80/90 gear oil is recommended and I have experienced good luck over the years, insofar as wear, with Valvoline.
