Quick Update: Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street Car Michigan

Here's a quick update from the OSUSC Michigan Event last weekend:

We were able recruit some help with some quick phone shots throughout the weekend. optima Jim also was kind enough to provide some amazing shots of the event:

Michigan had a first time occurrence that went viral on the internet as soon as awards were announced. Not only did Dave Tyo win the K&N Spirit of the Event Award, but scored higher than Ken Thwaits of Showtime Motorsports, taking home $3000.

Michigan also brought out a large number of participants. There were drivers who never raced in the optima Series prior to the event. More drivers meant for some tough competition, especially since the weekend was a double points event. We have included a link with the results above in case you were wondering who came out on top.
