The tank was something Rick really wanted to do to show his abilities. And his abilities are incredible. We gained a few gallons of capacity making it still 18 gallons, which with a monster motor, we will need just to make it to the next fuel station.


We leave Friday on a 3 day trip. It will be a bit rough on the first leg. Because of all the destruction in Mississippi and Louisiana, there are no hotel rooms until somewhere a couple hundred miles west of Houston, which is about 1200 to 1300 miles for us. After that it will be a couple 600 mile days putting us in Vegas Sunday, to put the car in the show Sunday afternoon. We do plan to play with the car a bit. We have a couple racer friends that will drive it. We will take the car to Valley of Fire for photos and some hell raising after the show, and probably get some PICS around the casinos and the strip. We have parties and or dinners every night with sponsors and or business contacts, so we will not be able to play much before or during the show, so we will be staying a few days after the show to enjoy Las Vegas, play some poker tourneys, gamble, party and see some shows, etc. Then we will take the long way home and visit some members, friends, and business along the way.
