Not sure. My builder in Cornelius has the contact, and from what he tells me it is an "independent" guy who works mostly out the dealerships on Independence Blvd - I believe his quasi-headquarters are Hendrick BMW - but my builder told me he is a mobile outfit and would come to us. I have seen his work on two other projects my builder worked on - Audi R8 and Ferarri Modena - both installs looked right.
Separate note - trying hard to attend the Charlotte Good Guys show end of this month - hope to see you there. Maybe autocross the Vette???

10-06-2011 #402Hi Mark,
Thanks for the props. Paint has really come out great. Worth all the extra effort.
Couple of pics:

See my response above in previous post in regards to the clear bra install. Will be there during install so hoping I can oversee the fit, finish and quality of final product.

11-15-2011 #405My Camaro is finally home! Exactly 2,200 days since my first Pro-Touring Project Update Post! Yep…..you read that right……..that was Two-Thousand-Two-Hundred Days!!!! Time, money, patience and more time and money……..all part of the car building process here for me.
Spent the last week in October doing some tweaks with my builder, some test drives on some awesome North Carolina roads, brought the car by my brother’s shop at Hendrick Motorsports to show some of the friends I have made there that have helped out on the project the final product, then topped the week off by attending the 2011 Good Guys Southeastern Nationals at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Was great fun! Got an amazing spot on pit road to display the car, saw some awesome cars, got to see some heavy metal attack the autocross, met some very nice people at the show, and got to cruise the race track under the lights on Saturday night! Attached a few pics below!
My big plans for the winter are straight forward – work hard to tweak and improve all operating systems. Even though the car runs and drives great – I have a punch list of things that need to be addressed. As we all know…..they are never really done……it’s an evolution.
In the process of putting together a “thank you list” for all of the family, friends and vendors that helped make my build a reality. The list is quite long. Amazing how many relationships you make in building a car……it’s been a great experience throughout. Very much looking forward to expanding my friends base by attending as many Pro-Touring events as possible in the future. Hope to see many of you there!
