      Pro Touring Magazine

I just picked up the Premiere Issue today at local Target. Cool magazine but no way to subscribe! All I saw was a note to FOLLOW US: protouringmag.com. Went there and there are no links or way to subscribe! What's up with that!

      Ummm... Not that impressed.

First,it's not a magazine. Magazine implies, to me, an intent for regular publication. Once a year is not regular. Looks like Harris is sticking a toe in the water to see who bites, to see if a magazine makes economic sense. All they need do is look at how TEN did with Camaro Performers and PHR

Second, $8 for 100 pages including the cover? Really? And I'm estimating after a quick look maybe 40% of the book is advertising.

Haven't read it but it looks like a picture book with almost no tech.

I looked at several stores before finding it a Rite Aid, that was the last place I expected to find it.

Just got one last week. It has some solid pro-touring cars you'd expect to see in the premiere issue, which is why I got it.

But yea, not much tech & the ads in this issue look like something from Dub or rides magazine. I only buy what magazines I hand pick, so I'll check out another if it pops up.

Got it at Wal-mart of all places.

I went through the first issue pretty quickly, not a lot of information or tech, which is what I missed about PHR. It wasn't a thick magazine towards the end, but it had some pretty good information and tech articles. I don't need a picture book recapping all the pro-touring cars I'm familiar with.
