Budget 17 to 18 inch wheel.

I am looking for a budget set of wheels for 89 c1500 build. I have 17x8 steel Blackrock wheels on it now but I'm looking for something lighter. I would love some ForgelInes but they are out of my range right now. I would like to stay with a 17" but I know their aren't a lot of options in that size.

Cheap and light don't really work together. But if you want affordable and great looks, check out the Boss Motorsports 338. I think they look killer on your generation truck in an 18".

US Mags has some nice wheels in both 17 and 18 for reasonable prices.

Take a look at used oem late model truck wheels. Denali or escalade wheels would look awesome.

That is a good budget option. They do look pretty nice on these trucks. I'm going to look for a set.

The only problem with that is after 1998, GM went 6 lug on their trucks.

cheapest lightweight wheels you can buy are a set of enkei RPF1's.

Where are you located?

Impala SS rims can be found for pretty cheap but will usually need to have the powder coating stripped and the aluminum polished to look good.

Another option is the Rev107s wheel. My budget was $1500 and that got me four wheels (17x8, 18x9)with center caps from MCB as well as the tires including mounting and balancing.

Jim, very nice! Can you give us the wheel and tire details. Brand of wheels, size, backspace. Tire brand and sizes. Also where did you purchase them from. The 17/18 looks great.

PS I like the way the front end looks just as it stands.

The wheels are Rev 107S with plastic center caps for less weight and hopefully better retention. Front is 107S-7800600 17x8 with 0 offset (4.5" backspace) with 245/45ZR17 BFG G-Force T/A old tread design and the rears are 107S-8900600 18x9 with 0 offset (5" backspace) with 275/40ZR18 G-Force T/A KDW new tread design.

Tires were sourced from a local shop.

Wheels sourced through Matt at MCB.

Thanks. I raised the front, but I think I'm going to bring it down all the way around now.
