      Help me please!

      Hi Guys

I got a wilwood front and rear disc brake kit however the seller seems to have sold me big ford (new style) rear brackets that should bolt up to the axle.

Could someone help me find the part number for the backing plates?

My current backing plates have part numbers #250-6226 and #6335 which corresponds to big ford new style axle

      http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...6335/overview/

what i need is the part number for chevy 10/12 bolt in order to install the rear brakes

      Thanks

Is this going on a 12 bolt? I have a set of Wilwood 12.19" internal parking brakes on the rear of my '67 Camaro. The backing plates were marked FY 6341. I swapped the brakes over to a different rear and had to change out the backing plates as well. If the 6341's would work for you, let me know and I can cut you a half price deal on them.

      ----

The 7548's they listed on team Chevelle are the wrong ones. Those are for the Chevy Special ends which is what my new rear has. Similar diameter opening to the Big Ford Ends.

I just saw where you were located. Shipping would probably be prohibitive. Might be easier to check Summit or Wilwood directly.

Here's a pic of the 7548 backing plate sitting on top of the 6341's from when I did the swap. You can see the bolt pattern in the same, but the opening is much larger:

Its a bone stock malibu so im guessing a 10 bolt. Ill just need to confirm my rear kit but im pretty sure its the same backing plate for all 10/12 bolts regardless of the car. I have a NY shipping address so shipping isint an issue just let me confirm my rear kit part # and ill PM to work out a deal

Yes, they should all be the same. The plates I have are for the one marked 10/12 bolt Chevy, 2nd row, 2nd image from the right in the above diagram. My new rear is the the one marked Chevy (Special), 3rd row, 2nd from the left.
