I'd say not if you are using the Hooker mounting components on a lowered car and are concerned with optimizing ground clearance. In case you've never seen the ground clearance provided by the Hooker long tubes and exhaust systems for this application, here's a side-shot image of the ceramic coated 1-7/8" headers and the 3" exhaust system. The headers are also available in 304ss if you want to go the premium route. If you go with mid-length headers or manifolds then you have a far great range of fitment compatibility.
