WTT: F/X Body LS2 Swap for Built Pontiac V8

I'm testing the waters... I was planning on putting an LSx in the Firebird but couldn't bring myself to do it. So I am seeing what is out there for a trade.

I am located in Walls, MS 38680 I can palatalize and ship easily.

I have an '05 LS2 out of a corvette with 81k on the clock, I bought the motor from work and heard/saw the car run before it was dismantled. Vin will be provided to interested people to verify the miles of the car. I also have pictures upon request of the car. I replaced the intake with a ported LS2 intake but otherwise the motor is stock.

To bolt the motor into the car and running I have the following items included:

*1 set of ATS (Now Speedtech) LS swap mounts.
      http://www.speedtechperformance.com/...rod/prd307.htm

*1 set of poly energy suspension motor mounts

*1 pair of correct SBC frame brackets - reproduction

*Autokraft Oil Pan with Their pickup tube and billet oil filter mount.
      http://www.autokraft.org/products/

*All Grade 8 Hardware to mount engine

*Ceramic Coated Dynatech headers - These headers have been discontinued unfortunately but they prove to be great fitting!

*Current Performance LS2 24x Harness with e40 PCM setup for a T56 6 speed - It has fan relays and comes with their custom braided loom not that cheap plastic loom.
      http://www.currentperformance.com/sh...rness-e40-ecu/
      *GM e40 PCM

      *GM 05 Corvette Pedal Assembly

*Your Choice of the vette clutch and flywheel or 5.3 flywheel for your application

*F/X Body Subframe that needs a little love.

I don't really want to part with the fuel system because I would like to use it with the pontiac motor but if it sweetens the deal I can throw it in.
*Aeromotive Stealth Fuel Tank with in-tank pump and quite a bit of fittings and stainless fuel lines.
      http://aeromotiveinc.com/products-pa...lth-fuel-tank/

I can also work into the deal a good condition T56 but you would have to give me a very good reason to give it up ($2200 with ATS Crossmember)

All said and done I have well over 6k in this swap not including the fuel tank and T56. I will include all receipts and paperwork on parts bought.

I am looking for a healthy 400+ ci Pontiac motor that is reasonably fresh. I don't want a stock rebuild late 70's 400. If you've got a relatively wild street motor this is what I am looking for. If you don't have a motor but do have a 68 Lemans or GTO Project I would be very interested in that as well! I'd also be interested in new Pontiac V8 parts, Rotating assembly for a 400 block, Heads, etc.

      Thanks,
      Paul

Would you be interested in selling the headers?

Only looking for a Pontiac V8.

Sorry keeping this whole thing together. I either am trading for a Pontiac motor/selling whole or nothing at all and putting it in the car when I finish the firewall and suspension work.

      Thanks Guys!

If I were to sell EVERYTHING I would need to get $8500 out of it. That is taking a bath!

I don't really want to sell outright and probably won't unless that number is reached. I really only want a Pontiac V8

You are way past making the choice phase and deep into the get it done part. Economically you should follow through. A running driving firebird is way better than a correct engine-less car. You are about to get a fraction of your money back at best.

I don't really care though that's the thing. If someone wants to trade for a pontiac motor that's great I've got everything needed to put one back in the car... If not it will be ls2 powered when I get done with the firewall and and subframe. If you've got a pontiac motor or want to step up and make a serious offer and can back it up with payment, let's talk! Everything has a price and as always is OBO.

He's not looking to have an engine-less car. He's looking to either trade for a Pontiac engine to put in, or money with which he'll buy an engine to put in it.

Pzary, I have what you are looking for, but I haven't decided to sell it. Its a built 400, low miles, hydraulic roller cam, receipts...I've been looking for a nice roller car to put it in since Dec. lol I already have a 1000 hp LS based motor listed on here because I don't have a car to put that in either. lol I've looked at your ad here several times, but just cant figure out how your engine puts me in a better spot than just keeping the 400.
1973 Trans Am 455 SR block, ported 6x-8 heads, solid cam, Victor intake, 830 CSU carb, aluminum rods, 77mm Garrett turbo and methanol injection. 1064hp at the flywheel@5500 rpm

Thank you! Someone understands what I am trying to accomplish. I think I may have a deal worked out on the motor alone that was too good of an offer to pass up. I have notified a potential buyer for the rest of the stuff. If he falls through it is open season on parting out this swap.

That 400 sounds pretty good, I don't need a big cube motor... Pm me the details! If for nothing else hearing about another combo that someone has actually driven.
