Ford 4.6 power steering pump compatibility with C4 Corvette steering rack question.

I've read that GM uses a higher power steering pressure than Ford. Is it possible to modify the Ford 4.6 mod motor power steering pump so that it creates a pressure compatible with C4 corvette steering rack? I'd rather not have create a bracket to mount a GM pump onto the motor.

i'm not a ford man but i know that GM pumps can be modified to increase pressure and flow, i'd try an internet search for your steering pump modification and see what pops up.
