I'll bite, but I have to share a previous idea. If I shared my real top secret plan I'd have to kill ya...
One of my former ideas:
Platform
Pontiac Fiero (base model notchback will due just fine for a base). Factory space frame cut down to the bare necessities, fully seam welded, and a 14pt cage welded in. Once the whole car is sorted out and tested in the cloak of moonlight it would be powdercoated a medium steel gray.
Front Suspension
Custom crossmember fabricated to replace factory piece, that swings C5-or-6 arms and knuckles (with C4 bearing/hub assemblies). Pushrods take the action inboard to double-adj Koni coil-overs inside the frame rails. Race type sway bar, 14" Wilwoods with six piston calipers, and stainless lines. Race optimized geometry through two-inches of travel. Brushed finish w/clear powdercoating.
Rear Suspension
Custom cradle swinging identical suspension components, 13" rotors and four-pot calipers. Brushed finish w/clear powdercoating.
Wheels/Tires
19 & 20" HRE's (545 I think), with 265 & 345mm Pirelli stickies for "normal" duties - and - a set of the same wheels in 16's for the dragstrip with ET Street rear rubber. The big size stagger in rubber is standard fare for a mid-engine car. Medium steel gray centers with brushed/ clear powdercoated lips.
Engine
10,000rpm Northstar, with a huge single hairdryer. Custom 8-1 stainless header with turbo mounting flange on header. Big intercooler, of course. Dry sump, billet crank, titanium rods, custom pistons, titanium valves, custom cams, CHRFAB Hemi style cam covers, sheetmetal intake with dual throttle bodies, Big Stuff 3 ECU. Brushed finish w/clear powdercoating.
Drivetrain
Aluminum flywheel, Quaife 6spd sequential transaxle, with custom billet bellhousing, QuarterMaster triple disc 7.25(?)" clutch, custom axles, brushed finish w/clear powdercoating on all aluminum parts.
Body Color
Lambo pearl green
Cockpit
Raw powdercoated steel (see platform), Carbon fiber dash, door panels, console, and seats. Patches of body-colored, but tough, fabric on seats. Carbon fiber and aluminum steering wheel, aluminum shift knob, brushed finish w/clear powdercoating on aluminum. Every Autometer gauge made. Fire system, and five point harnesses.
Special Features
All carbon fiber bodywork, closely resembling a notchback Fiero, with the "aero" front fascia. Completely smoothed and shaved. Full carbon belly pan with integral diffuser. Flush, C6/F430-style headlights.
Hmmm, why am I not building this??? On yeah, I have something better in mind

Okay. You need:
-a clean '70 Satellite 2-door
-a complete Superbird kit including the nosecone, wing, and rear window plug
-a 528 Hemi topped with EFI and a centrifugal supercharger
-a Doug Nash 5-speed
-a Gear Vendor's gear splitter
-a Heidt IRS setup
-a front suspension setup utilizing NASCAR-spec brakes + power steering
-NASCAR slicks
-a 50 gallon fuel cell with the fuel door on the left quarterpanel
-a custom interior with a rollcage that follows the contours of the interior
Building a tube chassis to mount the sheetmetal on is always an option.1968 Plymouth Road Runner

Transmission in rear (a la Corvette)
New C5R/Z06 Engine
C5-R similar Suspension(Adaptable to Street)
True Sequential 6sp Manual
All Magnesium/Carbon Fiber/Titanium
Everything in raw, natural color; no paint, just clearcoat
18's, Magnesium
Baer Brakes
Adjustable suspension(drive to track, change tires and adjust to race, adjust to drive home)
Gut body so all that exist is cage/body/motor/interior
Stock interior(MUST be comfortable and fit like a glove)
Alpine/iPod Sound, no subs(weigh too much)
Stock exterior
Sleeper, all will think it's a regular 4 cyl FWD import

Keep it simple, nothing I could do without
Just body, drivetrain, cage, interior; able to drive all day in comfort, not luxury
Think the offspring of an Eclipse(interior/body) and a Corvette(C5-R)(The rest)

I dont want to jinx my 68 Chevelle project, so Ill dream of something different:
MGBGT- Full chassis with custom CA front suspension, coilovers, 3 link rear with narrowed 9 in. Channeled body and full, yet tasteful cage. Single turbo SB2 with a richmond 5 speed (short). 17's and 18's, 13" brakes.
Bright, hurt-your-eyes-yellow, with cage, engine, fuel cell, etc painted to match.
Maybe its just me, but the thought of a small, light, turbocharged go-kart sound like a lot of fun.68 Chevelle SS396. Pro-touring in Progress
Pro-jected 396, TKO 600, 3.90'd 12 bolt, LS1 brakes.
10-13-2005 #46A super gloss black 1937 chevy Coupe with C6 suspension and a twin turboed all-aluminum big inch small block chevy would be it for me.

10-13-2005 #471967 Fairlane 500 Street Fighter
OK guys, I'm comin' in from the Ford camp with something that's been in the back of my mind now for the last week.
1967 Ford Fairlane GT500 Street Fighter - The basis for this concept is to start with a '67 Fairlane GT and place a 500 hp Supercharged DOHC V8 from the new 2007 Mustang GT500 into the engine bay along with the 6 speed transmission. Next we're talkin' mini-tubs, 18" wheels, full cage, and loads of custom suspension components. Here's how I'd wave my magic Pro-Touring wand....
BODY MODS
- Custom carbon fiber Power bulge hood (can see it in my head right now...) to give clearance for the supercharger. Maybe integrate some extractors into the hood.
- Carbon fiber front fenders, doors and trunk lid.
- Custom carbon fiber rear splitter
- Custom aluminum front and rear bumpers. Pinch the ends of the bumpers in tight to the sides of the car along with tweaking the center front of the bumper with an integrated grill to accept air for the intercooler. Since I love to design custom bodywork onto vintage muscle, the front of the bumper would be cleaned up, lowered, and reshaped to help direct air into the intercooler.
- All the trim would all be removed and shaved off to improve airflow over the body.
- Custom fabricated aluminum rear spoiler
- Shaved door handles, and locks.
- Door vent windows removed and replaced with one-piece windows to really accentuate the hardtop "look".
- I'd have Marquez fab up some billet parts such as tail light bezels, and emblems.
- Custom candy paint - I'd have to think about this one more.
DRIVETRAIN
- 2007 Mustang GT500 Supercharged DOHC V8 and 6 speed transmission. The engine is said to be putting out atleast 450 hp, it would be "massaged" to 500 - hence Fairlane 500. I'm sure the motor could be made to put out more but for the sake of the concept and that my idea of a well balanced Pro-Touring machine doesn't require insane amounts of horsepower. Besides, a 500 hp. hi-reving 4 cam '67 Fairlane would be amazing especially when you hear the loud blower whine!
- The rear would be a custom one off heavy duty IRS rear end probably designed and built by Mark at Lateral Dynamics.
SUSPENSION AND CHASSIS
- Front would be all coil over with tubular upper and lower control arms.
- Custom built IRS for the rear
- Anything else needed I'd just got to ATS or Lateral Dynamics for consultation and construction.
- Wheels would be a three piece 18" wheel that I would personally design that would carry a slight retro touch but be all modern forged stuff. Fronts would be something like 18x9s, and 18x13s for the rear.
- Brakes - the biggest I can fit. I like Baer's stuff so maybe their new line of brakes they are producing.
- Custom fabricated full length headers, 3" stainless exhaust and racing mufflers. Center exit exhaust integrated into the carbon fiber splitter.
INTERIOR
- I'd design all the interior panels from scratch. They'd be clean, stylish, and carbon fiber . Again - I can see it in my head, I'll have to sketch it up.
- The dash would also be custom and created from carbon fiber. Custom guages and a steering wheel styled to look similar to the wheels.
- Center console would also be a custom carbon fiber piece.
- Seats would be a nice set of Sparcos with harness belts.
- The rear seats would be deleted
- Full custom roll cage
- Aluminum fuel cell and battery box in the trunk.
That's it for now. I think I'm gonna have to get somebody to build this beast!
