      Couple more pics....the dash ...

And the firewall semi smoothed, I almost welded it up solid and smoothed the whole thing but decided against it and went with just the smoothed heater box area

So guess it's time to update this thread.....anyway. I decided I didn't like the seam on the firewall so that is gone

Next new set of door skins on and all fitted...

Then it was time to take her off the rotisserie and put the rear suspension and front sub back in so I could fit the nose...

Then it was time for bed liner in trunk....I did this in so that I was able to somewhat duplicate the factory trunk spatter but with the sound Deadening

Then it was prep for paint time....more pics tomorrow!

damn- looks awesome! i had a 71 Nova and wish i could have been into PT back then. Alot of your mods look like what im doing to my car currently- even the rear suspension looks like my AJE bolt in four link with ridetech coilovers! I dig that color, very nice choice.

That's pretty much where I'm at now alot of not so exciting stuff now.....waiting on my new headers to show (found out the hard way my brand new dynatech headers hang too long below suffrage for a car that sits low!)
Still gotta paint nose but I'm waiting to do headers and new wiring which I will tackle soon?

So got my new 42lb holley injectors yesterday which are ls1/ev1 style and ran into a snag....while they fit the rails and intake(tsp ls3 intake) the hold downs are one inch short.....kinda looking like I will have to make up some spacers....

yeah i believe my injectors were about an inch too tall and came with billet adapter spacers to pick the fuel rail up. Looking awesome!

Well Saturday I worked on my clutch and brake linkage...using camaro clutch Master and I have a dse firewall bracket. Was pretty straight forward just took some time. I cut the stock camaro clutch Master and welded threaded Rod to one side and welded a threaded sleeve to the rod end which gave me about a 1/2" of adjustability. ...while I had the clutch pedal out I drilled a few extra holes for adjustability.
The wilwood Master was straight forward and was a complete bolt in

The epoxy under the bed liner failed, that company covered some of the cost.....needless to say we no longer spray that brand.
Today 1st time in a long time car came out for alignment

What a bitch to align, as it these cars went bad enough with the shims....all this dam turbo stuff didn't help the situation lol

Well...as you can imagine I was eagar to drive it after 7 years so after alignment was done I took it out for it's 1st drive , at 1st it was going great was tuning the Holley ecu in learn mode . The car was insane fast ...in 4th gear I could roll into th throttle and it would loose the rear tire at 70mph....and thats were thing got bad.
I got off the hwy and slowly rolled into it in 4th I saw the boost gauge go way up into the mid 20's boost range( for some reason the manual boost controller failed) I imeidetly let off but it was too late and had a loud valve train ticking sound. Still had great oil pressure, I limped it back to my shop , tore it down and found it bent #3 connecting rod.
So I'm now tearing down this is where I'm at now uhg!
