      14in (350mm) Brake Calipers

      Howdy,

I'm going to outgrow my current fixed 4 piston calipers when I upgrade to a 350mm rotor and 18in wheels here in the future. I'm scouting the possibilities and since my car is more Grand Touring than Pro Touring (less track focus) I'm wanting dust booted calipers. Here's my current list of candidates:

Gen 3 Viper Brembos (~$275 per used), radial mount so more work in the mounting
G37/370Z Akebono (~$275 per new), lug mount and unique pad
Wilwood FNSL4r (~$300 per new), radial mount and TCE comments they are dust booted

While I like the look of the Akebono's they really don't save much money and the pads are definitely more exclusive but I thought I'd throw them out there. Is there a reason to choose the used Viper Brembos over the new Wilwoods? Seems like the wheel fitment would be less of a gamble as well. Yes I know the narrows flex more than the regular Superlites.

      Thanks,
