Pick the Wilwood kit carefully. The Dynalites have a smaller pad Sq In than the stock disc pads do, and many kits use the 10.75 rotor that is also smaller diameter and thinner. OK for a drag car or light street car but may be tough pulling a heavy second gen down from speed. I think they do make a 12.19 Dynalite kit but I'd look at kits with another caliper.

Might think again about the 8.5. They use many of the same bearing sizes as the GM 12 bolt. You can get a 30 spline Eaton posi, 33 spline spool and upgrade to good 30 spline axles and have a stout rear. Get some taper bearing ends welded on and no spitting an axle out. Bet it would be about as strong as the 8.8.

Heck my 78 TA has been using stock 28 spline axles behind 550+ HP and slicks for years with an Eaton, but granted not a stick.

Nobody has any Feedback on the Speed Tech Kit ??? Or the Smith Racecrafts Tubular A Arms ??
Also the PTFB Stuff Looks Real Nice as do their Brake kits & Pro G Brace Kits, I do not want to mix & Match A Arm Setups ...would like all Parts the from the Same Co.
I have also been finding some SPC Control Arms ???They look Cool but how Dependable & Street worthy are They & how do they Perform ?
Feedback from anybody Using these Setups would be Great !
