      Fourth gen Camaro

I was wondering if anyone had a 4th Gen Camaro that was built for pro touring.

Wouldn't be to difficult of an undertaking, given the after market support for 4th generation F-bodies. Every single piece of the suspension has an after market counter part. Much of the factory 4th gen chassis and body components easily interchange year to year. Albeit with a few exceptions obviously between car line (Camaro Vs Firebird) and some of the years. When I started restoring my 93 Trans Am, if a part wasn't available any more for the 93-97 cars or 93 specifically I simply converted to the 98+ part with out much issue.

Any pros and cons with the 4 gen? I know I would have to connect the front unibody to the to rear unibody and have a strut tower brace.

I have a 2002 SS that has a few suspension mods and still sucks in the handling department when I compare it to my '73.

How did the 73 compare before the latest changes, say 2011 sema setup?

The Camaro was really good with handling with the Hotchkis three-link. We got an offer that wasn't refuseable from Art Morrison Enterprises and handling with their front sub/rear IRS is now a "10." The two suspensions are a different as night and day ...
