      TH400 Users.....

What is your set-up? Car type, weight, hp, manual valve body, paddle shifters, trans builder, how much stall in converter, how the car is used (drag, autoX, road race, street) etc etc???
I've decided to go with a TH400 for my build and was curious to see what everyone's TH400 set-up was like.
      Thanks in advance!

Thanks Jim! Is your car a street/strip car?

Yes it is more street/strip but I'm moving towards the Pro-Touring end of the spectrum with some pending upgrades. The only reason I stayed with the TH400 was that nobody at that time would guarantee an overdrive transmission at my power levels. Now it's commonplace. If I had it to do all over again, I'd go 4L80e with the GV overdrive and steeper rear gears but I love my Summit-sourced Hughes to much to change it out now.

I'm interested to see how your current converter performs in an autoX/pro-tour arena. How much stall does it have? Do you plan to change it?
