Im putting my roller 1974 Nova together finally. It will eventually get a TKO 600, but Im putting a automatic back into in for the mean time. I have access to a good TH400 with a medium length tail. Will that fit or will the trans tunnel and or driveshaft angles cause me issues? The reason I would use that is because its in good shape and the price, which is basically free. Any ideas or suggestions would be welcomed. I understand that a TH350 6" tail or a TH 400 4" tail would be optimal, but this is what I have to work with and am trying to not drop cash on a transmission that will eventually be pulled when I convert to manual. Thanks in advance.
