      New guy with something different

I've been lurking here for a while and finally joined up. I'm Drew from Louisville KY. I'm not new to the car scene and I've had a bunch of Mustangs and one supercharged 2003 Marauder. My build is still in the planning stages but is something different from all the F bodies, Chevelles, and Mustangs on here (not that there is anything wrong with them.) I've got a 1986 T-bird that will be a pro-touring / restomod build. Some of you may be scratching your heads and asking why a 86 T-bird. My first car was a 85 T-bird with a 5.0 and AOD. I always wanted to build it into a nice street machine but never had the time or funds. Now that I'm older, I still don't have the time or funds but I have a garage for the car to sit in while I dream about it. Anyways, I'll be lurking and looking at pics and posting here and there until I get around to starting a project thread which is going to require finishing a friend's car and getting a fox body Mustang to the body shop for my wife.

Once I get rolling on it I'll be posting pics like crazy. Here's one from last winter when I got a small start on it. I'm planning on using a 94-95 Mustang dash and console so I was mocking up the frame. I've decided to use a painless style harness and Vintage Air HVAC and I'll have to see if it will clear the frame when the time comes.
