Silly rid tech question

The adjustment knob has changed since a couple years ago, you used to be able to thread it all the way in and slip the collar over. Since they've changed to the plastic knob, you turn it in, remove the torx and the plastic knob & you're good to go.

did my ridetech shocks last week had to turn to hardest setting then remove screw and knob I felt silly asking ridetech but I was not sore if some thing would pop out under the knob

I know what you mean... Note to ride tech... Need to get some PDF instructions Ect out on your website for things like this ... For instance is the snap ring supposed to lock in the upper mount or does the retainer just rest up against it...
