4" is about all the suspension travel that a 67 Camaro had....either need new shock mount locations or shorter shocks.

We can build shocks with nearly any dimension and mounting style.

BUT...if your car is truly 4"lower than stock, you are completely on the bumpstops and have no suspension travel. No shock will make this setup ride well. You must have at least 2" of compression travel to have any hope of a civilized ride quality and any handling performance. When you get the car at that height, take a measurement between the shock mounts and call us. We will have a shock that fits...and works.

What can I put in my car to drop it at a safe level? Something affordable.

Well today me and my dad measured it and we go 2 inches so it's a my bad, we thought we had 4 inches because we bought 2 inch drop leaf spring and put 2 inch blocks, but I think that the spring are not 2 inch drop

Sounds to me like you need to send some time talking to ridetech about how to properly lower your car and improve the handling in the process. Those lowering blocks are going to be problematic.

Yep...2" sounds more feasible. We used a 2" drop leafspring from Eaton Spring on my 69 Z28, and our ridetech tall dropped spindle in the front with a 1" extended spring from Eaton...car sits perfect and rides and handles really nice. We also built delrin bushings for the OEM control arms, installed a larger front swaybar, and installed a set of our rebound adjustable smoothbody shocks. It's proven to be a great package for the guy who doesn't want to molest an original car [like me] or for the guy who wants a gentlemans cruiser without spending $5k to get there. With a 15" tire, my Z wont corner like the 48 HR Camaro, but it is darn acceptable for a street cruiser. I was looking to improve the car as much as possible without changing the "civilian" look of the original Z28. I am truly pleased with the results. I'll post some pictures of the car soon.

We've been considering putting this package together to sell as a complete system. I don't know exactly what it would cost but certainly somwhere under $2k for the front and rear springs, front spindles, front swaybar, delrin bushings, and adjustable shocks. Think there would be any interest?

In the meantime...the answer to your original question...fixed valve shocks would run $125/each, single adjustable shocks - $175/each.

That's a broad question.....what do you consider affordable? set up of what? suspension set up? engine set up? tire combo set up? shock set up? Brake set up? also what is your intentions with the car? Auto cross? daily driver? big track? drag race?

I planing to use it as a weekend cruiser, I have a 396 bb 500 hp 450 torque. Stock suspension, and wilwood 6 piston 12" front brakes and 10" rear brakes. I would probably spend 2500 in suspension.?
