      Leather Care Products

I was just wondering what you guys can reccemond to use on leather seats. I just bought a 2005 honda accord with black leather and I went to Auto zone today and bought some stuff to take care of it with. Anyway I bought Mcguires leather protectant and when I applied it to the seats it looked like I smeared crisco all over them.. I mean it looks terrible. I might as well have Armoralled them or somthing.. So is there anthing I can do to try to get this stuff off ?? I tried wiping the excess off with no luck. Are there any other products out there that will prevent my new seats from drying and cracking with out the crisco affect? Thanks

Take a look at this website: http://www.properautocare.com. I have purchased some stuff from them and I've been pleased with all of it. I use their Pinnacle leather conditioner, and clean the seats with an interior cleaner and a small brush. Also, one thing you should make sure of is that you actually have leather seats. Many auto manufacturers use vinyl-covered leather, and you have to clean those the way you would clean vinyl, not leather.
