New Disk Brake Conversion - Brakes Draging at Highway Speeds

I just installed a Wilwood Dyanlite Big Brake Front Hub Kit (140-7675) on my 1968 Cutlass. All the brake lines are new incl braided lines to the caliper, new master, booster and proportioning valve. Vacuum to the booster is via the intake manifold. the car makes about 16 inches at idle.

Around town at lower speeds the brakes function perfectly. Once I get above 50-55 mph I can feel the brakes drag. If I touch the brake pedal at this time its very firm and doesn't travel much at all (under normal conditions I have good pedal feel and the pedal does travel a little before the brakes engage). As long as I keep at the higher speed, the brakes will continue to drag. Once I reduce speed they'll continue to drag for about 5-10 minutes before they return to normal & function properly.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this problem?

The rod from the booster to the M/C is likely too long. Some are adjustable, some are not.
