having and issue and need some help...

hey guys, new to here and haven't used a forum before so sorry if this isn't the right spot to post this, but i need some serious help. i have a 69 camaro, and i am in the process of doing a full "pro-touring" style restore. now i have come to the issue of my wheels and tires. i am having trouble finding rims that will fit while maintaining that pro tour look. the rims i had chosen were the TSW nurburgrings in 17" or 18" but the tire shop told me that the backspacing was wrong. i found another set of rims that i like that are the Cray Hawks but i don't know if they'll work. i just needed some help from those more experienced than i. i'll post some pics of the kind of rims I like and kinda looking for just in case one of u guys know of another rim that looks like them and fit no problem. anyway, thanks for any help you guys might me able to give me.

Companies like Forgeline, BBS or others will make you completely custom wheels in any backspacing and width. There are quite a few site sponsors that will easily be able to help you with ordering.
If you want additional advice you're going to need to share more information like what type of suspension you are running? Will you be runnning inner fenders? Do you have 14" Brakes? Did you minitub the car for 335-345 rear tires etc. There should be a few different guys that can give you advice as to what size they are running once they know more about the car.

its just gonna be for daily drive/weekend play car, 14" wilwoods 4 piston, total new front clip with corvette c6 suspension and standard multi-leaf spring in rear, looking for 17" or 18" rims and backspacing availability is 5.5 in if running a 9" wide rim. and I'm trying to stay under or around $300 per wheel.

If you have 14" rotors the kit likely won't fit under 17" wheels.
For the price you're talking, see if American Racing has anything that is a 2 piece wheel that you like. One piece cast wheels are usually limited on back spacing availability.
