      need help key fob dead Chevy Silverado.

      2003 Silverado. my alarm is set. The battery in my key fob is dead. How can I disable alarm. Am out in town.. Would like to go home soon.

      Factory alarm? Just unlock the driver door with your key and you should be fine. Aftermarket alarms usually have a button somewhere that you can push to temporarily disable the alarm is the key fob dies.

      hold the fob to your chin and try it, it amplifies the signal
      or get a battery from the hardware store they are usually a "half aaa"
