MSD 85551 drive gear and roller cam

I've got a brand new MSD #85551 putting it in my GM crate engine with a hydraulic roller camshaft. I had planned on swapping the mellonized gear from my HEI over to the MSD dist but the shaft is a different size.

Does anyone know what material the drive gear on the brand new MSD distributors is and is it compatible with a hydraulic roller camshaft?

If it isn't, what gear can I get at a local auto parts store to use with this distributor and my roller cam?

Parts on bench, hands dirty, ready to put back together... Thanks...

From everything I can find, the gear that came on the MSD has a melonite coating on it and it okay to use with my cam. I've installed it but won't be starting it today as I've got carb troubles. I'll verify with MSD on Monday for sure.
