Mast Motorsports Carb Style Intake Throttle Body Adapter

Anybody running this setup from Mast Motorsports? Looking at running this on my LY6 w/ a GMPP or Vic Jr EFI carb style LS intake and reusing the truck 90mm throttle body/injectors if possible. Called Mast today and it is a little pricey at $220 for TB and Air cleaner adapter.

I think it comes with a map and air temp sensor so that make the price a little more bearable. If you already have a truck tb and want the conventional it is a great way to go.

Yea already have the TB, and with any luck would like to use the truck injectors as well. This setup is a good compromise of old school looks, while keeping some modern technology.

From what I here yes, requires an SD tune. Not 100% sure if that is a good or bad thing....

Nothing wrong with a speed density tune as long as it is done right...

Personally, I would go with a Vic Jr and 4 bbl type throttle body - I realize it is a bit more pricey, but I think it would give a better overall setup. Old-school look, new technology.

Also, not sure how much power you are planning on making in the long run, but you may also be better off getting a good set of injectors from the get-go... I believe in over-building the fuel system myself... seems you always grow into it power-wise.

I got a 6.2 LS3 with a drive by cable throttle body on my 1979 Monte Carlo. Now I'm thinking about that MAST LS Old Skool Intake/Adapter... is it also possible with the DBC throttle body?
