Adding 220v outlet plug onto a welder

I was wondering if anyone had added a plug to there welder as an outlet? I want to be able to plug my tig cooler directly into the rear of my Tig welder to eliminate another cord. I was thinking of just tying into the incoming 220v and adding the plug to the rear.

My concern is drawing amperage away from the welder itself to supply the tig cooler. Have any of you done this before? What's involved? Drawings images, etc that i could see? I know some of the Everlast welders have a rear outlet plug already but I can't find the wiring schematics online.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Fyi I'm trying to ad the plug to my Thermal arc 186 220v and will be running the HTP Tig cooler that also runs on 220v
