I tried. I really did. But I cant stand any of those lame hosts. I'll watch TG UK reruns on BBC. Far more entertaining.

I am watching the BBC version right now. I love that show and you are correct, better than the US version but when my car is going to be on the show, I guess that made a difference for me.

Well hell, I'm a rookie. What car should I be looking for? I can mute the morons and enjoy the view!

Penny and Bill Howell's PT cars will be on Top Gear US tonight

Just a heads up.. tonight (tuesday) at 9pm eastern (6pm Pacific) on the History Channel.

Sure it's silly, sure it's scripted to some extent.. but I look forward to seeing my car in HD.

Oh, there's some stunt involving filling the car with thousands of flies.. ick

      Should be fun

I hope Tanner Faust is not driving them - otherwise you are going to need some new tires!

All three cars would be well-loved in my shop. Can't wait to see the show tonight. Gotta say the front end of that Charger is just sinister ...

Just watched it, it was a good episode. No major spoilers but one of them drags the rear bumper of a viper powered challanger at the end. I like where this season is going.

Theres totally a HD torrent you can download if you do that kind of thing.

I've just gotta say, Steve, you and Bill are nuts! I would say the owner of the Mustang is nuts too, but I don't know who he is. I would be hard pressed to let someone else drive my car the way these guys did! And another thing.. The announcer comes up with something like this "this car belongs to a guy named Bill from Tennessee". That's it? could they not at least give you guys a kudo and at least given you guys first and last names and where your from. I didn't even hear Steve's name (or the guy with the Mustang) mentioned. I will admit I might of missed it but don't think so. It was a good show and I know you guys are proud to have your achievements on television. And yes, Tanner did drive one, and yes I do believe it's going to need tires.
All in all, congratulations guys. By the way, who does own the Mustang?

All three cars looked great. Wish they would have showcased the cars and their performance capabilities and not just roast the tires off and fill them with flies.

Man the script on that show is horrible. Loved the cars though.

I watched the episode mainly for the cars. I had hoped they would go into details of each car (mod/suspension). But having not watched US version before, I didn't know what to expect. Wondered who owns the Mustang as well. Is he going to have the tire replaced by the show?

To be honest though, I fell asleep 20 minutes into it. I enjoyed the British version better.

Yeh, like he said, awesome cars and episode. If I was the owner of the cars I would be wanting some good coin for new tyres, clutches and other parts as the fat dude doesn't know how to shift a stick. and that mustang gets a thrashing. that charger sounded absolutely mean
