Thanks Godbolt I saw those. They're sweet. I'm a little concerned about the fixed angle. It looks like the door on the Camaro has a flatter and wider surface than my 71. It may have the mirror tilting on my car. Not that a pair of wedged CNC'ed spacers couldn't do the trick. I either mod or trick out the stock mirrors or a set of aftermarkets really grab me. Also, and rightly so, they're an expensive alternative. I estimate $1300 Canadian before they're ready for paint. I've already nicked a jugular on this build to date lol.

Pushed it outside to look at it in a different light. Working out the stripes before paint so I can get it figured out. It's not as easy as I thought it would be. Lots to consider but I'm getting close.

One of the best build threads on this site. I would love to do this to my 67 coupe, accent the quarter panels more and give it just a slightly less boxy look. I finally figured out that you had commented on my discontinued build thread. I started a new one under the title "old and new" under my profile. Your build here is inspiring me to go just a little more extreme. Great job

New addition to the family. FFR MarkII 289. Working out the bugs and enjoying every drive in it. Letting the 68 go after 10 great years. Time for someone else to enjoy it.

Hi all. Just a project photo update on the front of the 71. Also going to be selling the 68 coupe if anyone would like to PM me.

Was looking at a friend 2015 mustang and noted that the mirrors would look very good on your car.

Like the Factory Five car- not a color you see often.

Thanks guys. Cobra is the one getting all the attention for the next month. This is the car strapped to the Dyno after a carb to FI system upgrade and the new rim and rubber I came up with. About 310 to the tire on a 2100 lb car. FUN!

How much this '67 is widened and who made a new windscreen?

Hi Micow. I really like your Bullit tribute fastback. Looks great. My car may look widened but the coupe has stock rear quarters, stock inner tubs and a stock windshield. The rear tire just fits because I had purchased a shortened 8.8 and when I wanted to put the new wheel and rubber on the car I had custom billet spacers made. Tight but no rubbing

Thanks! That Shelby nose and wide angle fooled me. I managed to shoehorn BFG 295/50-15 back, std. rear axle and no rubbing. Name: NK4I2612.jpg

Ya. It was shot with my cell phone. Puts a curve on everything. I like to also use that excuse for my less than athletic physique lol.

With the bulge on a 15" tire I think you had a harder time than I did. 18" rubber is a little more square. As I said, your car really has a cool look. Nice stance.

There was some inner wing hammering also involved... I like that Shelby nose too, so I had to make lower grille to have some extra look but without ruining the Bullitt look thoughName: NK4I3022 (3).JPG

I think you nailed it. That looks like it's something Ford would have done out of the factory. Very nice touch.

Back on the car. Swapping out old brakes for the upgraded BAER setup. Monday I'm back on the body putting in all the returns and mounting points.

Cut in some ducting and split the lower diffuser.
