I feel like im looking at those "prototype" mustangs from the 1969 autoshows and whatnot.. not a bad thing.. just has a nostalgic feel to it..

It will appear a lot more visually stock once its done but i know what you mean about the prototype cars of the day.

There is no messing around at the fibreglass shop. The divisions are being glued in place after only having the car for a day. On track for 10 separate moulds being made in the next two weeks. Now we're cookin.

Body kit already has a thick black gel coat and the first two layers of fibreglass over it. Going to take about 6 layers to create the mold.

Once the molds are finished on the exterior, trunk lid it gets cut open and removed so it can be flipped over to cast the underside.

All the panels have been made!!! It took 9 months to get here but know i have a reproducible kit. Very high quality construction. With this resign, they are ultra light weight, impact resistant, fully cured in 48hrs and fit like they should. The piece your looking at was repeatedly hit with a 2x4 where it lay and was completely un damaged. It behaves like carbon-fibre without the high cost.

Been 10 months in the making but I have the parts in my hands. Parts are light weight flexible and impact resistant. The high quality resin combined with the level of skill and love for cars shown by the fibreglass manufacturer is worth every minute spent getting here.

Hood and trunk will arrive early next week. I will post those shots when they are on the car.

Front clip is complete. All the returns and mounting points have been put in. It goes back to the mold to have these mods put into the original mold. When the trunk arrives tomorrow it gets installed which allows me to fit the end caps and from their the bumper/ valance. Then we are given the final position of the quarters.

I got bored last night and drew a defuser onto the front chin spoiler. I might just build one if I choose to track the car when it's done. So far the build is just the street machine but who knows

Just got the trunk lid in. Should have the hood tomorrow or Sunday.

SEMA is definitely a great show to attend. I highly recommend it to anyone who is an automotive enthusiast, gear head, motor head or just looking for something new and innovative.

Car is at a stand still for the last 3 week with my work load picking up for Xmas. I need to be patient till mid December but then it's a race to the finish sometime in June I hope. In the mean time the rubber billboard letters for the tires have arrived. I just lay them down on the tires to get an idea of how they'll look. The stripes will have to be trimmed back away from the lettering an inch or so but I really like the race feel. Also got a yellow set incase the car is yellow in paint. Can't seem to nail down a paint scheme if you paid me. Lol.
