It is nice that it’s feeling more like spring and less like winter! I’m sure as soon as I get the exhaust back I’ll be itching to taking it down the road for its first drive!
      Thanks

Only those of us who watched the build will know what's hiding under the sheet metal. It's kind of a shame but to use a generalization, there are 2 kinds of car people: those that look at the exterior and stop and those that want to crawl underneath everywhere to see what was done. Pat, your car certainly warrants the extra look.

I’m amazed at how much space all the parts to a car take in one’s garage during a restoration. It’s great bolting all the big parts back on the Charger and all the space it frees up for the next project;-)
      Thanks

You've got a great space to work on cars. I am mildly jealous.

Do I spot a couple of Vipers? :-)

Install the hood turn signals and gave the hood one last cut and buff before I mount it.
      Thanks

I'd this doesn't win multiple awards, I'll be stunned.

It's been months since it was painted. Was there noticeable die back?

As with any new paint, there was some shrinkage. I wet sanded it with 2500 grit and a cut and buff brought it.
      Thanks

That is incredible. You’d half expect to see ripples if you touched it.

On a side note, I’ve got four boys 7 and under and the thought of owning something this beautiful gives me hives haha! Better you than me, my friend!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share. It’s a pleasure to watch. (From a safe distance! ;)

I am envious of your four children! I have 2 boys, 26 & 29. Both are married and my oldest is expecting our first grandchild:-) So we will soon see fingerprints, but looking forward to them!!
      Thank you!

I totally agree. I have been through the build more times than I can recall, and each and every time I find detail(s) that I missed before. I suspect there are more to be found on future visits too.

Wow, this is awesome Just spent many hours scrolling through your build blog, never ever seen this attention to details, I´m blown away and extremely impressed.
Do you happen to have a build thread of the Mustang you built with your son?

I went through the mustang build. That was a good read. What did your son finally choose for his career?
