      bead rolling for strength

I posted this in another section and then figured it would be better here. I am currently making an air dam and then I am going to make a nascar style rear spoiler with the piano hinges and adjustable supports. I already had a sheet of 16 G aluminum and I can already tell it's to thin the way it is. I was wondering if it would be strong enough if I added bead roll to it? If not what thickness should I look for

Bead rolling would add a decent amount of strength to the part, but if you paired the bead rolling with additional supports and proper designs it would be a significant increase.

Thanks. It will also be supported by heavy duty piano hinge at the bottom and support rods at the top. I'm even thinking about adding a 1 inch lip on the top that is bent towards the rear of the car
