Has to be a trick to thread MC push rod into clevis?

So I am in the middle of installing my Wilwood master cylinder into my 67 Camaro and am confused on how to thread the push rod into the clevis on the brake pedal. The MC has the push rod installed and so it would need threaded into the clevis while mounted on the car. Removing the brake pedal assembly won't help since the two need to be bolted together. I assume Wilwood sells a clevis and pin for this maybe that is easier to remove then the factory one. I don't see how the factory one gets removed since it is tucked up inside the brake pedal assembly.

Any thoughts or tips on this would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks, Erik
