      335 or 345 on a 69 Camaro Vert?

Is it possible to fit this tire with mini tubs of course and still have a working top?

According to Martz Chassis' website they could only expand the wheel wells 1 1/2" , and only fit a 295 tire because of the top mechanism. Its my understanding that a 295 will fit a stock well with the proper back spacing.

We did it. Requires some major work to do the tubs, and major reinforceing. Instead of a 50 hour job in a coupe. We are at 75hrs for mini tubs on convertibles, plus cage, + top frame mods. Were doing Lisa's car, I'll be tracking hours to see how much better we do the second time around.

I will tell you this, if you do not brace it, you may find your doors won't open one day. Seen it with my own eyes. So it does require a cage.

      Thanks Steve...

Frank what kind of bracing are we talking about, besides the cross bar that connects the frail rails what else do you recomend. I will definatly be running a roll bar, but your saying more is needed. Will the rear rails be too thin after the tub? Also what really concerns me would be messing with the top frame.... Can you go into aliitle more detail?

Did Frank clarify everything for you Rob? He is a very busy beaver and may have lost this thread. Let me know and I'll send my little birdie to remind him! He is definitly the man to talk to on this.

He did Kevin, I'm very grateful to him for helping given his busy schedule. He's even working on a few things for this type of mod. I have a decision to make soon on whether I want to open this can of worms or not... I'll keep you posted...BTW your car looks awesome on his website... Really nice work!
