Ridler judging-What they look for.

I just do not understand why someone would drop six or seven digits on "the perfect car" and then let a bunch of fuddy-duddies point out its flaws? It's a mystery to me. I guess that's why they call it the Ridler.

no pun intended huh? I beleive 7 digits would be the entry fee at this point to build a riddler winner. The Master that chip built 2 years ago that won was the most expensive at that time at $1.2M. I read somewhere "ILLUSION" that won this year just topped $2M. Someone also said the polishing and buffing bill alone topped $50K.

Most people seem to be honored just to get picked for the "Great Eight". I know I would not want to own that type of car, but to know you could build one to that caliber would worth its weight in gold. When you can build to that level, work comes looking for you, not you chasing it. Look at Foose, perfect example. Great guy, multi Ridler winner, worshiped by many as the best in the business.
