      camaro front tire size

does anyone know if i could fit a 235/70r15 tire in a stock 1969 camaro front wheel well? it has hotchkis 2" drop springs and the tire height would be 28". the reason is that i want my front to match my rear tires and I'm looking at the bfg redline radials
      thanks

IMO, it should work fine. That's a fairly narrow tire.
I was running 235/60/15 up front on mine without problems.

i was more concerned about the height of the tire because it is a pretty tall tire at 28 inches

Update: they rub in 3 spots at full lock and barely clear when the tires are straight:(

If you remove the inner fender bolts and replace them with button head screws that should solve one clearance issue.
